Order of Communication

We have given this topic its own section for a reason.  We know that, during the course of the year, you
may see things that do not seem right, that seem unfair to your daughter or other members of the Club.
We want you to make us aware of these issues so we can correct any wrongs or injustices or, at least,
offer explanations.  Based on years of experience, we have established a means of handlings these
issues more efficiently.
  1. Email the source first (most likely your Coach).
  2. Email your age group Technical Director.
  3. Email the Executive Director.
  4. Email the Board President.

For any soccer related issue, the coach is always the first person for a player to approach.

If there is a financial need please discuss that directly with the Club Treasurer.

Things won't always run smoothly.  A player or parent may feel uncomfortable or ill-treated by some
event.  We know there may be problems on every team and the Club wants to hear all sides of any issues.
However, many problems are easily resolved when discussed in a respectful way.  The suggested method
of communication is email, unless time is a critical factor (if safety is involved, for example).  Email allows
one to compose one's thoughts and to think of the merits of what may be a spur-of-the-moment reaction to
an event.  The respondent also has time to think before giving an off-the-cuff rebuttal.  Follow-up questions
may be posed in a thoughtful manner when an email response is sent.  Phone calls and face-to-face
discussions may not leave much room for reconsideration.  Also, phone calls may be an intrusion on the
private family or business time of the individuals involved in the resolution of an issue.
